Camping/Squatting/Biking

So, this happened awhile ago, but Maggie and I went camping. No, not car camping. . . bike camping. We found a nice campground, recommended by a friend. (Phil the angel, St. Phil, etc. More to come on him.) To be precise, we squatted. In the most beautiful squatter's site I can imagine. So yeah, there was poison ivy, and flat tires, and fear of being joined by strangers, but that's not all. There was also concord grapes, wine, and of course morning sun on the bay. Squatting. . . yes I recommend trying it once. Especially if your view is this one.

Maybe now

Well, I just read more of Chris's website. . . and I'm inspired. I'll have to see what I can do. This being busy stuff can certainly get in the way! Bosh!
Here are some quick thoughts that should have been down already:
  • Your science will not save you! (miss-interpreted bumper sticker)
  • I fought the war and the war one! (What could this mean?)
  • The way we use words like "democracy" and "justice" aren't they just like the gods of the olympiad?. . . or any system of god for that matter.
  • I have been meaning to do an entry for NPR's "This I Believe" show. I still will.
  • What would I do if I were president? How would I act?

I am not a small thinker

So far, I am thought and not much action. I say that is because I am in school, and I am biding my time. I don't really know at this point. One thing though, this blog is my beginning at trying to step out a little. I plan to expose, hash and rehash ideas here. I hope to make a difference one day, but for now. . . just this blog.

A real entry

I hope (with this) to get current thoughts out (the usual blog type ramblings) and also to slowly get old stuff I have written onto here. That will either be interesting or not I guess. I am not sure yet if I will try to put stuff on regularly (which may be mundane) or if I will wait for inspiration (which may cause me to take myself to seriously). It should be fun though.

This is me right now, and I like this picture.

The thing in my hand is a "Reminder." I would like to offer this reminder to anyone who wants it. It is a reminder to look around, appretiate what is there, and be inspired. I can't say I can do it all the time but my life would be better if I could.

Day one

I just want to see this thing in action.
